Federal Cherry Tall Case Clock, John Osgood, Haverhill, New Hampshire, c. 1810, the hood with scrolled fretwork joining reeded plinths above the arched cornice molding and glazed tombstone door flanked by reeded columns, the polychrome and gilt iron dial with an urn in the arch and American shield spandrels, seconds hand, and calendar aperture inscribed "John Osgood Haverhill," the waist with rectangular molded door flanked by reeded quarter-columns on a base with thumb-molded recessed panel and ogee bracket feet, refinished, (imperfections), ht. 93 1/2 in.
