Seven Assorted Pewter Lamps, America, early to mid-19th century, two made by Roswell Gleason of Dorchester, Massachusetts: one with duel brass camphene burners on a lozenge-shaped font and baluster shaft, and a chamber lamp with a brass fluid burner on a lemon-shaped font with a saucer base and ring handle, both marked on base; one lamp by George Norris of New York with whale oil burners and urn-shaped font, marked on base; one lamp with whale oil burners on a baluster font and shaft with molded ropetwist details; one lamp with whale oil burners and a tapered cylindrical font; and a near pair of small chamber lamps with brass whale oil burners on elongated acorn fonts one impressed "W.J. Cowlishaw, Boston" on base; (minor dents), ht. 3 7/8 - 9 in.
