Floral Appliqued Cotton Quilt, America, mid 19th century, in a variation of the Rose Wreath pattern with sixteen wreaths of four trapunto red roses with yellow centers and green calico leaves arranged symmetrically, one end with a meandering vine border, on a white ground with red binding, with diagonal line and diamond quilting stitches, white backing, (light staining and toning, three small tears in one corner), 85 x 72 1/2 in.
