Plains Beaded and Quilled Hide Possible Bag, c. 1880s, the rectangular hide bag beaded on the flap and both ends with linear and cross devices in greasy yellow, white-center red, white, and royal blue beads, the front with spaced purple quilled bands, tin cone and blue horsehair danglers, original tag reads "Crow Indian, Clothes Sack Crow Agency Mont. Ter. June 3rd 1888," (damage to quill work), lg. 21 in. Provenance: Collected on the Crow Reservation in the late 1880s.
