American, 20th century. Federal style inlaid mahogany serpentine sideboard manufactured by Councill. The serpentine top with brass rail gallery mounted to the back over a conforming case wtih two stacked drawers flanked to each side by a cupboard door. The drawers and doors with crotch mahogany and inlaid stringing. Corner fan inlays on doors and drawers in satinwood. Holly and ebony checker pattern on lower case front. The two locking cupboard doors with open storage. Two locking drawers with silver liner in top drawer. Inlaid bell flower on case columns. Legs have holly inlay and satinwood cuff. Top drawer maintains the Councill label. Height 45" with brass rail gallery, height 38.25", width 66", depth 24".
