Sterling Presentation Cup, New York, early 20th century, urn form, the fluted lid with ribbed urn finial, the body with reeded loop handles, engraved with presentation inscription to one side, mottoed crest to the other, on stepped foot with reeded molded rim, approx. 42 troy oz., ht. 14 1/4 in. Note: Inscription to William Lawrence, Bishop of Massachusetts, from Charles Lanier, dated 1917.
