Shaker Maple Sewing Carrier with Sewing Notions, attributed to Henry Green, (1844-1931), Sabbathday Lake, Maine, early 20th century, maple sides with four fingers secured with copper tacks, pine bottom, maple swing handle, peach colored satin lining with brown satin ribbons, four items attached to the sides: a pincushion, a beeswax cake, a strawberry emery, and a white felt needle book; also including three satin and velvet strawberry emeries in shades of pink, green, and scarlet; a spool of multicolored threads, an ivory tatting shuttle and a whalebone bodkin connected with a pink silk ribbon, carrier ht. 3, dia. 9 in.
