Federal Cherry and Maple Inlaid Chest of Drawers, probably Massachusetts, c. 1815, the rectangular top with elliptical front and ovolo corners above a conforming base of four cockbeaded drawers, each with an elongated cherry oval set in mitered mahogany panels centering an ivory urn escutcheon with flanking quarter-engaged ring-turned reeded posts continuing to turned taperin legs joined by a valanced skirt, replaced brasses, old refinish, (minor imperfections), ht. 42, wd. 44 dp. 21 3/4 in.
