Federal Mahogany Inlaid Desk, probably New England, c. 1800, the rectangular top with mitered, crossbanded and string inlaid border above a central prospect door inlaid with two lozenge-shaped panels bordered by stringing flanked by two conformingly inlaid graduated drawers on projecting writing surface and case of two graduated inlaid drawers flanked by panels and lower edge of tiger maple crossbanding joining square tapering legs with inlaid stringing ending in cuffs, replaced pulls, refinished, (minor imperfections), ht. 38, wd. 36, dp. 21 1/2 in.
