Two Embroidered Silk Patriotic Eagle Pictures, China, 19th century, both with silk threads on a silk ground with gold and silver metallic thread accents, depicting spreadwing eagles, American flags and shield, one with a banner inscribed "E PLURIBUS UNUM," the other with a reserve inscribed "Presented to John A. Andrew Post 15 G.A.R. by Comrade Chas. R. Moulton, Aug. 17th 1888," sight size 19 3/8 x 25 1/4, 19 1/2 x 20 1/2 in., framed.
