Federal Mahogany and Bird's-eye Maple Veneer Inlaid Card Table, probably Massachusetts, c. 1790-1800, the rectangular folding top with ovolo corners and inlaid edge on a conforming skirt divided into five bird's-eye maple panels bordered by contrasting stringing and mahogany crossbanding joining four square tapering legs with paneled inlaid dies continuing to stringing and cuffs, old surface, (very minor imperfections), ht. 28 3/4, wd. 34 1/4, dp. 17 in.
