Federal Mahogany Carved and Inlaid Sideboard, attributed to John and Thomas Seymour, Boston c. 1800-10, the slightly overhanging rectangular top with edge of checkered, string, and crossbanded "she-oak" inlay above a central drawer and two hinged doors and bottle drawers and arched inlaid skirt flanked by drawers and hinged doors and acanthus-carved panels and simulated fluted pilasters on bracketed vase and ring-turned tapering legs, all drawers and doors bordered with string inlay and crossbanding, replaced brasses, refinished, (minor imperfections), ht. 40, wd. 70 1/2, dp. 24 3/4 in.
