Indo-Portuguese, Second half of 19th century. Carved ebonized hardwood armchair with arched egg and dart motif, scrolling and leaf motif flanked by tapered ears above wide body with embossed leather back and seat with fleur-de-lis within lattice motif, attached with large nailhead tacking. Chair with four C shaped curved legs with turned wood cross stretcher support at front and back. Approximate height 46.25", width 33.75", depth 35", seat to floor 16.75".
