Roosevelt, Franklin (1882-1945), Two Letters Signed, March 12th and January 26th, 1918, each one page, as Assistant Secretary of the Navy, to Mr. Eliot Tuckerman, a family friend, one detailing that he would be pleased to accept "Field Glasses by Tiffany & Co., and a set of glasses made by J.D. Porter," the second a confirmation of the receipt of the glasses, one with a copy of the Tuckerman's letter to Roosevelt's response to the call for binoculars for the Navy, (one with corrosion from paper clip upper left).
