Scott, Sir Walter (1771-1832), Autograph Manuscript, (1829), two pages, folio, from Letters on Demonology and Witchcraft , published in 1830, pages 58 and 61, forty-two and forty-six lines per page, using some quotes concerning a man "lately appeared thrice since his decease," other ghostly viewings, and putting forth a variety of suppositions, one with near contemoporary note affixed to mount stating that the pages were obtained June 27th, 1830 at Abbotsford, (laid down).
