Two Roland "Rick" Ayotte Floral Paperweights, b. 1944, America, 1990, 1991, one of yellow, purple, and red flowers with buds and green leaves, signed Ed/25 and dated; the other a spray of red poppies, bluebells, and white petaled flowers, signed Ed/50 and dated, dia, 3 1/2, 3 5/8 in. Note: Rick Ayotte, a native of New England, spent his childhood studying birds and the outdoors. He started working as a scientific glass blower after attending Lowell Technological Institute. Paul Stankard encouraged him to experiment with paperweights.
