Continental, Late 19th/Early 20th century. Center table with circular malachite veneered top above tapered triangular base composed of rosewood with three large bronze ram's head mounts on corners below cornice support, sides of base with Neoclassical style allegorical figural panels comprising of panel with young beauty in long robes resting hand on globe and holding winged scepter, likely representing time by Steven Schwartz (Austrian, 1851-1924), signed "ST. SCHWARTZ"; another plaque by Schwartz of muscular man standing at full length resting heavy tool over shoulder, likely an allegory for hard work, signed "ST. SCHWARTZ" and an unsigned panel depicting Mercury or Hermes with caduceus staff, signed "S.S." under figure's feet. Overall with large bronze acanthus leaves and gadrooned border above three lion's paw feet. Approximate height 30.5", diameter of top 31.5".
