Abstract design paperweight in shades of blue; signed and dated "Eichholt 1989" to side; measures approximately 2-1/4" tall and 4-1/2" in diameter; in Good overall condition with no noticeable damage. Robert Eichholt has been captivating audiences with his love of glassblowing for over thirty-years. In 1978 Bob founded Eickholt Glass Co. where he has been producing a look his own ever since. Early on Bob enjoyed playing and experimenting with various glass techniques; this obsession would lead him to create new decorating techniques that were distinctive of Eickholt Glass Co. Many of the techniques used today involve the use of precious metals such as silver and gold, as well as rare oxides such as cobalt and dichroic glass.
