Lydie Egosi serigraph; modernist depiction of a Jewish wedding celebration; signed to bottom right corner and numbered "106/250" to bottom left corner; triple matted and framed under glass; measures approximately 32" x 26" with frame and has a sight image of approximately 25-1/2" x 19-1/2"; in Good condition; hanger needs to be fixed. The tapestries of Lydie Egosi, which radiate an intensely colorful and positive Jewish spiritual vision, have been widely exhibited and displayed in museums and synagogues throughout the United States. Since 1972, her dramatic wall hangings, and more recently her silkscreen serigraph prints, have found their way into numerous public and private collections.
