MEURON QUARTER REPEATER GOLD Meuron, Paris, No. 9340, made circa 1830. Fine and rare, large, quarter-repeating 18K gold pocket watch. Accompanied by a key. Four-body, "Empire", polished, reeded band, case back with engraved sunburst pattern and a blank cartouche. Hinged brass cuvette with winding and setting apertures. White enamel with Breguet numerals, outer minute track. Steel half-moon hands. 48 mm. gilt, full plate, cylinder escapement, brass three-arm balance, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator. Notes Dial signed by Meuron. DIAM. 55 mm.
