Continental, 20th century. A large flesh-toned plaster sculpture depicting a classically French man at bust length with button-front shirt open at neckline exposing his chest, the man's proud face with full cheeks and strong nose set under long wavy hair pushed back off his face. The plaster to a separable oak veneer platform base of square form. Overall approximate height 34", width across shoulders 20.5", depth of bust 13".
