Continental, early 20th century. A fine gilt bronze mounted walnut floor jardiniere having a circular form inset with removable conforming zinc liner within a decorated gilt metal blind fretwork banding over a cylindrical tapering body mounted at the sides with three gilt bronze putti caryatid rising from satyr and leafy headed supports united by a circulet and terminating on cloven feet united by a tripartite shaped gilt bronze base. Approximate height 34.25", width 26.5" (caryatid to caryatid), diameter of liner 18.25".
