E. Silliers (French, 19th century) for Sevres Porcelain Factory (French, founded 1740), circa late 19th century. A very fine hand painted porcelain and gilt bronze footed urn, topped with gilt bronze pineapple form finial, lid with gilt floral and banded border on cobalt ground, with floral spray over pale blue ground, urn body with egg and dart flared rim at mouth, with large figural scene depicting allegorical scene with man, woman and putti in forest surrounded by gilt floral border on cobalt ground, with floral spray surrounded in gilt plumed border, body with two figural ram form gilt bronze handles, urn with gilt bronze leaf tip base surmounted to egg and dart flare, further surmounted to circular cobalt foot with gilt floral border, with gilt bronze laurel and berry border topping octagonal gilt bronze base, with Sevres mark "BB" with an "S" for Silliers under lid. Approximate height 24.5", width from handle to handle 13.5".
