Louis XV style gilt bronze mounted and kingwood veneered bureau plat having a reverse serpentine shaped top banded with rocaille above a conforming deep frieze fitted to one side with a center drawer flanked by two short drawers each adorned with rocaille scroll mounts and leafy handles, the other side with simulated drawers and decoration, raised on cabriole legs headed by espagnolette wearing plumed headress, on acanthus-cast sabots. Approximate height 31.12", width 69.25", depth 37.5".
