French, early 20th century. A pair of gilt bronze mounted crystal jars, urns or sweetmeats comprising a square plinth base issuing ring mount with bands of diagonal beads under serpentine ribbon, with a bulbous crystal vessel raised on ring foot with diamond patterning to bottom half under band of gadroons near mouth under gilt band decorated with flowers joining ram's head handles to either side, the conforming lid of shallow domical form with further diamond point patterning and a gilt pinecone finial. Unmarked. Approximate height 11", width across handles 7.25", base 3.875" square.
