French, 19th century. A pair of Empire style carved beech or fruitwood tall 3-tier plant stands each comprising an incurvate triangular base surmounted by three outward facing hairy paw feet each issuing a tubular monopod support joined to center and apex by small round saucer platforms, each support at top with outcurving figural harpy with backswept wings supporting a central round platform at top, each of the three platforms with drop pinecone finial. Approximate height 55", width 17.5", depth 20".
