Likely Italian, 19th century. A matched pair of monumental cast and wrought iron floor candelabras or torchieres, not electrified, each with three tiers and having a single candlecup at the top over a tier of four and a tier of twelve candlecups modeled as scrolling leafy acanthus with leafy bobeches raised on a cylindrical iron shaft mounted at the bottom with three scrolled and acanthus applied supports further mounted on a tripartite footed base. Approximate height 89.5", diameter of base 24".
