French, early 20th century. A pair of fine and heavy gilt bronze five light candle sconces (later electrified) comprising central cylindrical body with hanging tassels and oak leaf clusters surmounted by a leaf tip cup with ebonized matte black urn form issuing five scrolling candle arms with classical masks at each base connected by a floral garland, each arm of fluted form with laurel leaf and berry decoration terminating in scalloped drop pan under round candle cup, the sconce at top with overflowing flower and fruit urn under a ribbon bow. Unmarked. Approximate height 39", width 18.5", depth 12.25".
