Italian, 20th century. A rococo style giltwood and gesso console table having a serpentine green marble top above a vigorously carved apron with pierced scrolled acanthus, floral vine and shell, raised on two incurvate legs heavily carved with rocaille and joined by a stretcher with pierced rocaille carved cartouche centered with winged putti, one holding a telescope. Approximate height 34.5”, width 53.25”, depth 25.5”.
