English, early 19th century, ca. 1820. A black lacquered toilet or vanity mirror, set atop two tiers and a skirted front, each tier with two serpentine front drawers, decorated in allover gilt patterning, including an acanthus leaf border and central medallions to the sides and tops, grape leaves and clusters, with flowers along the skirt. Lower two drawers with center locks. Mirror is adjustable, with two knobs flanking either side. Unmarked. Approximate height 26.4", width 16.5", depth 11.6".
