Probably Dutch, late 18th century. A Neoclassical stained oak linen press having a broken pediment centered by an urn issuing floral swags and adorned with dentil molding over a dentil molded cornice with projecting ears above a conforming case with a pair molded doors mounted at the corners with gilt metal rosettes enclosing an interior with open compartment containing two drawers above three drawers, flanked to the exterior by freestanding gilt metal mounted pilasters over a bombe form base with three long drawers adorned with fine oval brasses, above the deep scalloped apron on scroll feet. Approximate height 89", width 61", depth 22.12".
