English, 19th century. A rectangular inlaid satinwood tea caddy with the lid and front having a large almond reserve inlaid with a conch shell within a multiple banding of ebony, barber pole inlay and fan patera to the corners. The hinged lid opening to a foiled lined interior with two covered compartments with turned brass pulls, the front of case having a almond shaped inlaid escutcheon (catch in lid missing). Approximate height 4.75", width 7.25", depth 4.25".
