Pair of matching Louis XVI style Neoclassical gilt bronze chenets or andirons with gadrooned urn with flaming finial accented on body with oak leaf and acorn swags joined to ram's head handles, on a fluted columnar pedestal with guilloche border, oak leaf wreath wrapped foot and fabric swag, curved and pierced architectural railing with ribbon crest on circular medallion with profile portrait bust of a young woman accented with crossed laurel leaf and berry branches, pedestal at end with urn. Apparently unmarked. Overall approximate height 15.2", width 16.125", depth 5.7".
