A collection of four offset lithographs by Allan Rohan Crite (American, 1910-2007), presented together in a single frame, each signed and dated within matrix "Allan R. Crite 1979". Each print depicting an African woman and a doppelgänger female rhythm pounder figure mimicking the woman's gesture. Collection comprising "Shango Cult Figure of Yoruba Nigeria" depicting a mother nursing a baby; "Mende Sierra Leone" depicting a woman with both arms extended before her; "Baule Republic of the Ivory Coast" depicting a woman with both hands on her lower stomach; and "Temme Republic of Sierra Leone" depicting a woman with one hand on her hip. Framed approximately 23.5" x 46.5". Each lithograph sight approximately 13.25" x 825".
