Continental School, late 19th century. "Barnyard Scene with Lady in Bonnet", oil on shaped canvas, apparently unsigned. Figural pastoral landscape scene depicting a woman and small child feeding barnyard or farm animals including a rooster, chicken and goat as a horse peers out from its stable in the nearby barn, with verdant foliage and a distant cottage in the background and blue cloud dotted skies overhead. Overall approximately 58" x 34.25".
