Curt Schlevogt (1904-1984), circa 1934. Art Deco vase from the 'Ingrid' series, produced in light dichroic colored glass. The vase molded in relief with female figures at each corner of the rounded body separated with vertical grooves on wide horizontal bands similar to the skyscraper motif seen on many Art Deco period works. Produced for Leipzig Exhibition in 1934 and designed by Professor Arthur Plewa. Underside with spurious acid etched mark "R. LALIQUE / FRANCE". Approximate height 9.625", width 7", depth 6.5". Provenance: From the Estate of Channing S. Jun, M.D., Eastman, Georgia.
