Likely Continental, 20th century. A pair of large carved oak table lamps of urn form, each raised on a square plinth base with square baluster form body carved with downswept acanthine foot under tapering paneled body united by fabric swags at top over oval medallions at center surrounded by radiating scrolls, the gadrooned shoulder issuing ionic capital form top crest under double light sockets at top of tall cylindrical brass stem, wood allover with remnants of whitewashing. Unmarked. Approximate height to finial 35", 6.75" square.
