French, 20th century. A provincial Louis XV style walnut four drawer commode raised on four legs, at front with scrolled toes on squat cabriole legs and at back on block legs, surmounted by serpentine case with two narrow panelled drawers atop two long panelled drawers, each with scrolled acanthine carving and lute form medallions, the top two drawers flanking a central scrolling faux escutcheon, the drawers with scrolling acanthine oxidized brass pulls, altogether surmounted by a conforming multi-plank top with breadboard ends. Label to back "CAMARD, Made in France". Approximate height 30.5", width 42.25", depth 21.75".
