Continental (likely Spanish), early 20th century. An ornate, finely rendered carved dark stained wood wall mirror with pierced foliate design, with rectangular looking glass, frame centered at top by pierced rocaille, rosette and scrolled acanthus crest, the crest flanked on either side by roaring lions, frame with large splayed acanthus leaves to each corner, frame with pierced c-scroll and s-scroll acanthus leaf surround, apparently unmarked. Overall approximately 53" x 36.75".
