Chinese, 18th century porcelain with later gilt metal mounts. A Chinese Export porcelain bowl of rounded square form with scalloped corners bearing Chinese Imari decoration in iron red and cobalt blue on white ground, the interior with central floral cluster surrounded by lush and bountiful landscape bearing chrysanthemum blossoms, sections of diaper patterning, and foliate sprays, the rim with a continuous band of diapering, the exterior with alternating sides bearing floral and landscape scenes, the porcelain mounted with gilt metal, possibly bronze, collar bearing grape clusters and leaves, joined with elaborately scrolling handles to either side with the four footed base having four scrolling pierced feet under a band of egg and dart. Unmarked. Approximate overall height 8.25", width across handles 13.75".
