Chinese, early 20th century. A finely painted figural porcelain sculpture depicting the star god Fu or Fuxing, the figure standing at full length in scholar's dress with long blue robes painted with phoenix medallions, scrolls, chrysanthemum blossoms, and prunus fruit, his arms crossed to chest supporting a child to one side who wears similar robe in iron red, each figure holding pleasant expression. Underside with impressed mark, possibly for Yongzheng imperial reign. Approximate height 23.625", width 8.75", depth 7".
