Chinese, late 18th/ early 19th century. A fine porcelain Chinese Export punch bowl decorated with famille rose hand painted enamels, the interior with central tondo of a rose and chrysanthemum blossom cluster, the exterior cavetto with two panoramic figural scenes depicting courtly adults and children in a garden setting set before a body of water with mountains to background and prunus fruit tree at center, these figural cartouches banded at sides by intertwining c-scrolls and alternating with smaller scrolled cartouches reserved on a diaper patterned ground and bearing scenes of birds in flight and resting on foliate stems, each of these bird scenes topped by a smaller scene in iron red with a sailboat afloat between sea banks.
