Chinese, 20th century. A pair of sancai glazed pottery foo or fu dogs on pedestals, each dog seated in mirrored format with 3/4 turned head, with curly hair over open jaws, with three large dangling bells on drop rings to brown painted collar, one with floral and ribbon motif ball below foot and one with foo cub, each on a rectangular pedestal with faux carpet overlaying in raised on a kang style base, allover with boldly colored traditional glaze of brown, green. and creamy white, apparently unmarked. Approximate height 34", width 16", depth 20.25".
