A hand painted figural four panel silk table screen, signed with a circular red seal on the far left panel, screen depicting a celebration among the cherry blossoms with figures dancing, playing musical instruments, fanning themselves, and lounging under the shade of the cherry trees, with muted gold metallic background, with two fabric borders within ebonized wood frame accented with silvered metal ornaments at corners and middle sections. Each panel approximately 35.75" x 17.75"x Overall approximately 35.75" x 71". Provenance: From the Estate of Vice Admiral Hugh Goodwin and Mrs. Eleanor Welty Goodwin thence by descent to their daughter, Sidney Mary Goodwin and her husband, Mr. George Marshall Brown of Georgia.
