Utagawa Kunisada (Japanese, 1786-1865), "Kabuki Actors", woodblock triptych on paper, with leftmost sheet with red rectangular inscription to upper right corner, red oval inscription with three white circular marks to lower left corner, white rectangular inscription to lower center and graphite inscription to lower left corner "Tayo Kim", center sheet with red rectangular inscription to upper right corner, red oval inscription with three white circular marks to lower right corner, white rectangular inscription to lower center, rightmost sheet with red rectangular inscription to upper left corner, red oval inscription, three white circular marks and white rectangular inscription to lower right corner. Three sheet ukiyo-e triptych print depicting four Kabuki actors battling as Samurai with long swords on a small wooden bridge as a female figure hidden behind her fan looks on. Framed approximately 20.75" x 35.25". Overall unframed approximately 14.325" x 29". Provenance: From the Estate of Channing S. Jun, M.D., Eastman, Georgia.
