Japanese, likely Meiji Period (1868-1912). A diminutive vase of baluster form comprising a woven bronze outer layer reminiscent of woven bamboo or fiber baskets, with an applied crab to side, with white porcelain liner. Underside of bronze with two cast or impressed seal marks. Approximate height 4.25". Provenance: From the Estate of Channing S. Jun, M.D., Eastman, Georgia.
