Japanese, first quarter 20th century. A cast bronze card tray of rounded rectangular form with relief in decoration depicting two cranes standing in a marsh amid lotus flowers and lily pads with fish swirling around their feet as they peer skyward at birds in flight, the composition heightened with gilt and copper accents. Underside with incised signature. Approximate height 7.25, width 9.75". Provenance: From the Estate of Channing S. Jun, M.D., Eastman, Georgia.
