Chinese,Qing Dynasty (1644-1912), late 19th century. A rosewood carved table with lobed or petal shaped top inset with circular white marble framed by carved precious objects and beaded edge over the elaborate openwork skirt carved with forms of cherry blossoms and branches raised on four cabriole legs headed with zoomorphic dragon mask over carved floral motif joined by a stretcher and terminating on knuckled claws, each holding tightly onto ball-shaped 'pearls of wisdom'. Approximate 31.75”, diameter 23.5”. Provenance: From the Estate of Channing S. Jun, M.D., Eastman, Georgia.
