Chinese, likely 20th century. A vertically oriented rectangular plaque hand painted with a grisaille winter landscape scene depicting a river or stream meandering through the composition's center with a single fisherman resting on his boat at center below an overhanging barren tree, with snow covered banks to either side of the icy water, inscribed upper right with three lines of black calligraphic marks over two red seals, the porcelain fitted to a wide wooden frame mounted at top with metal fixture for hanging. Frame approximately 22" x 16.5", sight size of porcelain approximately 15.25" x 9.75".
