Chinese, Qing Dynasty, late 19th century. A rosewood carved urn or jardinière plant stand having a hexagonal outline with inset conforming rouge marble top above a pierced frieze of foliage and auspicious symbols over an apron pierced with longevity symbols amid flowering prunus branches, all joined to the cabriole supports headed with zoomorphic masks and trailing flowering prunus blossoms united by a circular pierced undertier and terminating in dragon headed hoof feet. Approximate height 32”, diameter of top 10.5”. Provenance: From the Estate of Channing S. Jun, M.D., Eastman, Georgia.
